This week, some sophomores made fun of me for having an accent. In my gd homeroom. In a school where the official staff directory has my name misspelled to make it look like I am a member of a local Conservative powerhouse family who sells fireworks, and where hardly any person knows how to say my name. WTF did I get myself into???? Next week I teach about 19th c immigration ðŸ˜
