Just found two small shards of blue glass on the floor in our hallway. We haven't recently broken anything that these could be part of. It is a mystery...
About 5 years ago I was downstairs and heard a big crash upstairs. A picture that was hanging on the wall in my bedroom fell off, hit the floor, and the glass smashed everywhere. I blocked my dog off downstairs, swept my bedroom floor, moved the furniture and vacuumed thoroughly. About 8 months after it broke I found a piece of glass about the size of a playing card on the floor right beside my bed. I vacuum in there a couple times a week - how TF could I have missed it? 🤨

Wow! I did have a small container of this type of glass break several months ago in one of the rooms off that hallway but these shards were in the middle of the rug in the hallway - similar scenario
@publickovacs So weird right? Unless those pieces stuck on something that you later moved out of that room? Or if you have cats, they're good at finding things they shouldn't be playing with.
In my case I think that every time I moved the bed, that one piece of glass was stuck behind the leg, so it moved with the bed until that one day months later.
Or the simplest explanation is that it's just the ghosts of our broken stuff haunting us! 😄

This is in the part of the house where the dogs are, not the cats. And there is no furniture in the hallway. Sadly, I think shard of glass are haunting me ...
