Today I see my surgical oncologist to assess how things are with radiation treatment concluded and, likely, get my first surveillance appointment set up. This will be my life now. I also contacted a local Reiki master because I need me some energy healing to do survivorship and the modality I know, Tong Ren, is not available in this area. It will be interesting to see what reply I get.
As a Reiki Master/Teacher, I support your decision to include energy work as a healing modality. I hope their practice aligns with yours. If not, there are others. Your comfort is most important.
The combination of western and eastern medicine is the most powerful. I’m so grateful you are open to both.

I was never going to do Western medicine by itself. Yes, I had surgery and radiation, but I am not done. Not by a long shot. There is no Tong Ren in MO or KS, so that is not available, but the bit I have read about Reiki seems to rely on the same concept (unblocking the flow of what I think of as Chi) - unless I misunderstood what I read 😜
