I have an incredibly hard time asking for things. I grew up in a culture where help is offered, not asked for. A communitarian culture. So in this individualistic culture, I really struggle. But this is why we have therapy and I am working on it. So I told @junation that had we traveled this weekend, I'd've wanted a souvenir and would like a present instead because I am really sad.
