Dear #Michigan, your AG was pretty excited on #MSNBC this morning about the number of people signing petitions to have a constitutional amendment about #reproductivechoice on the #ballot in November. So you are telling me all the ppl signing want to protect and not end rights, and you know this? How? Because I am getting indigestion from nerves over here.
@publickovacs (we had overwhelming numbers sign the petition for reproductive rights, more than we needed to get this on the ballot)
@DevinsBarnCat I got that from the reporting that there were almost double the necessary nber of signatures, but I am paranoid and was envisioning arch-conservstives signing petitions just so they could vote against reproductive choice
@publickovacs nope, believe me, I attend a lot of events and those petition people were everywhere. Conservatives wouldn't sign it.

I don't often sign petitions but when the person stopped me at the grocery store I made sure to sign that one and the ones for election access and crackdown. on predatory payday loans
@publickovacs because most of us only asked our friends and family who we would be sure would vote for womens rights. Iām not kidding either.

I appreciate the honesty. That kind of intel I think is what lulled me and so many others into a sense of security in 2016 until the night when Cheetofuck got elected.
