I CoSo love you!

Good morning CoSo! In the spirit of I wanted to let you know that today after work I am getting my cancer / remission tattoo.

Now would be a great time to leave a review for CoSo on Play Store.

Points to hit: Ease of use.

Let's cancel out the *dummy reporting.

*"I can't find a like button"
"I can't find a report button"
Etc etc etc 🙄

Today I unlocked the accomplishment of turning 53. The circle got a cookie cake, my love got a cake that fucking glitters and has a unicorn, and and surprised me with letting hang out with them. Although everything could crumble at any moment, today my life is good.

Today while at work I got my first message from . It read: jU3
@junation says he was trying to message me while he was working from home but the kitten intervened 🤣

President Biden: [walks a bit slowly]

Trump: [literally falls asleep in court where he's being tried on criminal charges]

Political media: "Many people are saying President Biden's age is very concerning."

One last thing.

Positing that Black and Latino/a voters will defect en masse to Trump is more than a bit racist. It's accepting that vile trope that we're all "low information voters", and can be swayed easily to vote against our own best interests. Fuck outta here. Wanna see who regularly votes against their own best interests? Look at white working class folks.

It is the first that is spending with us and it is fair to say he is ridiculously tiny. But he is already learning to recognize @junation as a cat whisperer.

is home! He weighs 2.2 pounds, his left eye looks bad (he is being treated for cornea perforation), and he is 10 weeks old. We are going to our regular vet with him tomorrow. This is a good eve.

@junation has found the name: this is - he comes home this afternoon

I'm not crying, you're crying. I didn't get to have surgery on my partly blind left eye today. There is overcrowding at our local shelter. We ran there w @junation to pick up a male kitten. They had one with vision loss in the left eye who was rescued from a hoarding situation. We pick him up from the vet tomorrow after his neuter. Name TBD.

Thank you for the love, Loves. Deets: insurance won't allow doc the surgery scheduled for today. It is a quick, not too invasive operation. They will approve more invasive, bigger surgeries - for which I cannot do the recovery period until school is out. Big invasive surgeries are big ticket items and they are capitalist bastards.

Coming up on 4 pm in my time zone. Still don't know if I am having surgery tomorrow, but I know that the one I am scheduled for, is not an approved benefit with my insurance. Glaucoma specialist will try to see what else he may come up with, after he is done with his surgeries today.

My next glaucoma surgery was going to be on March 28. I got sick. It got rescheduled for Apr 11 - this Thursday. Monday Apr 8 I got a call that insurance denied my surgery and my glaucoma doctor was going to do a peer to peer review Tuesday - i.e. try to convince a doctor employed by the insurance company that I need the surgery. Because my optic nerve is dying. Today is Tuesday and nobody called. No idea if I am having surgery Thursday. And I have a fucking anxiety disorder.

It is incredibly painful to celebrate (or do anything, really) when grieving a cat, but here are and .
