@process I had that exact same thought. Their babies will be shoved into iron lungs, their precious boys will go sterile from having mumps, or they'll die from measles and scarlet fever.
I have a couple ancestors who died from scarlet fever. The husband has a couple who died from the Spanish flu. My oldest caught scarlet fever when she was about 3 and it was no big deal.
Don't forget taking fluoride out of the water!

@process I grew up on well water, so there was no fluoride in that. We got fluoride treatments at the dentist.
So far *knock wood* I still have most of my teeth, but I've got four crowns, and probably be needing another one. *sigh* However, my sister has had all her teeth pulled, and my brother was looking kinda snaggle toothy last time I saw him. Maybe I'm just more anal about brushing and flossing. And I've had regular dental visits since I've been married. They did not have that.
@process: The base doesn't care, and when the time comes for consequences, they and the administration will continue blaming the libs, the immigrants, the Commies, the Jews, the Pope, NATO, The Deep State, and whomever else. Textbook Big Brother, and that's because it works.
