@Coctaanatis Health claims for DNA are oversold. Unless it's a disease that happens to be associated with one specific gene, the most they can tell you is if you have more markers that increase the chance of a disease instead of markers that decrease the chance.
@Coctaanatis Both my parents had dementia. All mom's siblings did to one degree or another. Mom's dad died young, but her paternal grandfather had it. I may take up hang gliding.

@poemblaze Well, yes, although there are alleles closely associated with cancer or other genetic diseases. Likewise, your likelihood of developing Alzheimer's is closely associated with which version of the APOE allele you have.
