Am sitting outside in the shade on a glorious day. It's beautiful out! But the grass is looking very dead.
@poemblaze It's been a VERY hot and dry summer in Austin. We finally had a measurable bit of rain here last week. While out for my run a couple of nights ago I noticed some new green shoots poking up through the masses of dry brown grass on the roadside. The leaves on the tress and shrubs have also uncurled a bit.

@MakerWerks I took that picture somewhere other than the farm. The grass at the farm has more green, but it's still dry. There's more shade from trees there.
