I had an opportunity to "upgrade" to that version, but I stuck with the version with replaceable batteries. However, I use rechargeable batteries.
@teengee I have a dreadful intermittent twitch in my hands & fingers, leading to spurious input on certain touch-surfafe devices, such as the Apple Maggot Mouse.
Instead I use a Logitech M557 mousethat is designed to last for a YEAR on the supplied pair of alkaline batteries. It has four programmable buttons in addition to the standard left/right/scroll wheel.
A much better experience all round.
@peemee - it was genius. He got a bunch of people to buy 2 so they could use one while recharging the other.
