Hey, gang! I'm back after a brief SNAFU with my computer. In fact, it was AFU. π Screen strobing like a disco light. I thought at first it was driver-related after an OS update, but it runs deeper. Going to try Refresh/Restore.
In the meantime, I've decided it's time to take the plunge (back) into #Linux! π I'm trying #Mint on the advice of my brother, and a couple of folks here.
And what, you ask, was my very first action in Linux? Logging in to CoSo, of course! π πΏοΈ

So far, I really like it! This is my first use of it, so far haven't done much more than CoSo. π π
I haven't even messed around with Linux in years, so I'm impressed at how easy it was to install it to a bootable thumb drive. From there, it sounds easy to install it to the laptop, it even creates a boot manager so you can keep Windows.
My brother has been messing with it, and I noticed a couple of people here. It's been around a good while, so is stable and robust!

That's good to know, thanks! Even before this issue came up, I was wanting to at least play around with Linux. Also already seriously considering the switch, Windows is just so bloated and weird.
@p3R1n01D @Horrrflmlvr Mint has been my daily driver for a long time, both at home and work. Enjoy!
