π Happy last day of May! This ends the formal recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month! π§ Let's keep the conversation going and remember to prioritize our mental health every day.
Let's continue to raise awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health.
@Madken65 Absolutely! π―Supporting mental health and reducing veteran suicides are both critical.
Let's continue to raise awareness, to promote mental well-being for everyone, including our valued veterans. πππ½
@nursefrombirth I have "self care" as an item on my to do list every day. Sometimes it's reading, sometimes it's spending time with a craft, but every day I make it a priority to do something that makes me feel good. π
@ekg1976 Excellent π₯°IMHO it is necessary, non-negotiable. I lived most of my life focusing on everyone but ME. Now, I make time for myself and in return I am better equipped to help others. Everyone needs a self-care routine. π
@nursefrombirth Truth! I remind myself and my friends regularly that you cannot pour from an empty cup π
@nursefrombirth
And reduce veteran suicides while we are at it.
