Don't think about a pink elephant in the room which is a minor distraction, then came the orange blob Trump. Which is a life sentence that only eons can erase.
Reminds me of talking to a young German man on a ship. I wanted to know how a population could end up under a fascist like Hitler. I never realized 50 years later almost half of the USA would be Jonesing for it. I remember him saying his generation was ashamed and apologizing for countries past.
That does not have to be our future.
@normsmusic trump allowed me insights and understanding of what happened to the German people. It really clarified a few things and, perhaps, some sympathy for them where before I had little. When I meet a German person, I still wonder if their ancestors murdered some of my family. I am ashamed of my prejudice.
