That sounds like a magical trip! I have visited 3 times but only about a week each time. I went in winter '06 for Burns Night, summer '07 for Edinburgh Tattoo and fall '09 for Perthshire Amberfest.

My mom was a war bride. I loved staying with my grandmother for a year. They called me the dirty yank from where the streets were paved with gold. I love the UK The Kilt I was wearing in the late 50s was my Uncles.
