I really liked how female-positive this game was; not merely having female MCs, it also showed how the "old boy" bunch buggered it all up, with the ending having the (more competent & less corrupt) women ascending into the positions of power: not only is Jesse the Director, Emily is promoted to Darling's position.

I don't see this as a bad thing, or a negative message in any way.

@netspionage I love that aspect of it as well, but I am currently hung up on the side quest that has you fighting sentient spore clusters that create zombies. The end boss for that is a pain, and I've not seen a walkthrough that says anything other than "It's a tough boss"

Well, you could always set it to 'Raging Weenie Mode' (or some variant thereof). Aka, Assist Mode, useful for fossils like me whose reflexes aren't what they used to be 😁

You can even (I think) set assist mode to 'single shot kill' & that'd work (then change it back).

@netspionage Not a bad idea. A lifetime of clutching either an Atari joystick, a NES gamepad or a controller means I can't just hold my fingers on the shoulder buttons forever like I useta could. ;)
