Indeed, bu the Murdock empire is based on the ownership and control of information via any & all forms of media. Literally, most of the information media outlets in AU are owned & controlled by Rupert. A huge chunk of it in the US is also owned/controlled by the Murdocks.
Think about how effectively RU can brainwash their citizens with propaganda, but move that to a GLOBAL scale with a single family of billionaires in control...
