As I worked today's Food Drive thru, an unusual request came from an young couple. They said they only needed eggs and bread. As much as they would like to take the other offerings, they felt they didn't need it. Now, they could have not said a word to us and take all we had, but they didn't. They were honest about their need. We were able to grant them their request and moved the other offerings to a large family that would benefit from it. Things just somehow find a balance.
