Sipping this drink. I ordered lemon sparkling… they sent strawberry lemon sparkling. Don’t love complaining so making the best of it, you know how it goes.
I dislike it very much. I don’t know why I’m still drinking it. It somehow tastes like beer. How strawberries are tasting like beer, I have no idea.
I’ve double checked. It’s real juice.
I’m at a loss. It’s gross. And yet it’s almost gone.
@Coffee_and_Salt I drink a strawberry flavored sparkling water and it tastes like beer too!!!! You're not alone in that association.
@mistressticia thank you! What’s the deal?? I was thinking maybe it had something to do with the citric acid and the berry juice… but if your’s is just strawberry then… is it the taste of diluted strawberry juice?

@Coffee_and_Salt I think the carbonation alters the taste somehow. But I'm not a chemist, so I dunno.🤷 You are definitely validated. 😆 It tricks my brain into thinking I'm "drinking", but it's water sooo......It's a good thing.😉
