I just got cucked on facebook. They've banned any soundcloud link that contains 'lilyunsub' in it. Can't even share it in private messages. Not just me. Anyone. The irony of deciding I'm finally going to be visible and use my voice only to have FB stick a 'community standards violation' down my throat.
@Minholkin I just don't understand why its happened. Like, what would cause something like that...
I cannot imagine. I don't FB, but please don't let that in any way cause second-guessing or self-doubt.
@Minholkin don't worry on that front, I'm very much aware of the importance of using the voice I have in the world, no doubts in my mind❤️ just timing seems oddly coincidental
@Minholkin although I can pinpoint exactly when on my soundcloud that I was banned off fb because the avg plays dropped from 800/wk to 350/wk.
Is this happening to all Soundcloud links or only yours?

Try using a URL shortner to bypass
@willsecurity that might work for sharing stuff to people privately but it doesnt help me being able to post my music to my pages/followers and such, or that all of my soundcloud links have been completely removed from fb. Thanx for the work around suggestion though ❤️

So you can't use url shortners to seed on FB? Do they follow the links and remove them?
Also you don't have to take the time to educate me :) just curious
@willsecurity its more that when you post a link it shows up as a picture/streamable/etc when its music. Rather than just a hyperlink. If its a shortened url it doesn't show that, it only shows the link without 'preview'. Which generally removes most if not all engagement with it and limits reach (they wont show it on peoples timelines)
