Hit emotional rock bottom on my birthday. I cried uncontrollably for 6 hours before passing out from exhaustion. Its strange though because accepting thats where I was turned the world upside down and being able to actually express that physically became cathartic. It reminded me that I'd been there before and, as before, I'd stand up again. β€οΈ I very much appreciate all the love you showed me in that moment, even if it took me until after it had passed to be able to recognise it again. #cosofam
@InvaderGzim @lilyunsub @Mandypar @Minholkin Iβm not a hugger, but Iβm going to start warning people, when a vaccine is available, I may be hugging people until it is uncomfortable.
@JGNWYRK @InvaderGzim @lilyunsub @Minholkin I'm not wild at being hugged besides it is not appropriate in a workplace as potentially could break lots of rules along the harassment side of things (so just be careful). These days I could just punish you for hugging me by running your feet over with my wheelchair in an "accident" π
@Mandypar @JGNWYRK @InvaderGzim @Minholkin I'll sign up for hugs

I already took that training at work back in the early 90s.
Prompted me to start using the terms hon, darlinβ, etc for my guy friends at work. Iβm terrible in my usage so i just started being equal opportunity.
They really used to give me looks back when until i explained.

I know it's no substitute for the real thing... But as @Minholkin , I'm a hugger in real life, and my friend at work asked me how I'd ever be able to go back to the way I was... Many men would run when I came around... ;)
