But also, thinking anybody should WANT to have a soul-sucking day job just to buy food is enabling the capitalist oppression of the common man. So.
@lemontart you mean there's a job that isn't soul-sucking? Had 10 different jobs in 50 years and they all sucked.
@OldDude71 yeah maybe if you’re a rockstar that isn’t soul-sucking, all though the number that die from overdose or suicide could be used to argue otherwise. But if you have a normal job, of course most people don’t WANT to work just for the fun of it and why should they?
@lemontart as i tell people, i COULD get a job off the farm, but it would cost me more than i would be making between having to buy clothing, commuting, extra food for lunches, etc. so why would i do that?
