A good beginner's book, with non-obvious recipes

@leejackson It's pretty good, but then I haven't tried that recipe. (I might make brisket for Thanksgiving though.)

I'm very much a Steven Raichlin fan when it comes to grilling or smoking though. I'd probably turn to his cookbook for brisket just based (baste? <g>) on my trust of his stuff.
