I thought this was the series finale, but just googled and discover that a new season will be released later this year. Am looking forward it.

@koavf Yes. I watched the original with my father when I was very young. Later watched TNG in reruns, because I lived in an area without TV reception when it came out. Since then, have also watched DS9 and Voyager. Loved Strange New Worlds and am looking forward to the second season. Picard was bittersweet...one more season to go. I think the only ST I haven't watched is the cartoon series.

@BlueStateBabe Oh, and have you seen _The Orville_? I love it so much. If Seth McFarlane is off-putting, the show is nothing like his other work.

@koavf Yes, and I think it was adopted by another network for the most recent season, which seemed higher quality than the previous season. Seems like a parody of TNG, imho.

@BlueStateBabe Unfortunately, the idea that it is a parody is intuitive and common, but it is an homage and just great comfort food television. A little goofy in the first couple of episodes, but they quickly jettison the silliness and make a fun sci-fi workplace drama. I love it.
