I am making two traditional spring candy replicas in crochet.
First is done - a "Peep" bunny.
Second in process - a chocolate bunny.
Personally, I think Peep chicks would be more traditional, but I tried one and it looked like a misshapen pile of poo, so I went ahead with the bunny. It's about a foot tall and made with "Hygge" oversized yarn.
And...the chocolate bunny was a fail. Starting over and using a stitch marker. Hoping for a better outcome.
Poor bunny was rather Dali-esque.
I started a new chocolate bunny from scratch, and was obsessive about counting the proper number of each kind of stitch, double checking and frogging as necessary.
It was still werird.
I unwound some of it, then it knotted, and I tossed it all in the trash. Not gonna waste any more time on it!
