Please explain to me why I need to make a decision about event dates by EOD today when the event is happening in July 2024.
None of the industries I work in make sense.

@LianaBrooks This allows someone who has more clout than you do decide if they can get to ComiCon next year without conflicting with their paying job.
@kismatt If I were stateside I'd believe it. As it is, I'm probably the one showing up at the comicon as a speaker, not anyone in this organization. But we are staggering leave so someone is in the office all summer.
