Is this a cultural thing or a class thing? I guess because in the midwest? Like not just tamales but cookies, breakfast burritos, asian food, arabic food, eggs, like everybody has a babushka lady that comes around with cookies or eggs or cut gladiolas or rugalas. Only a very few people get offended by it but man do they get weird. Always wondered why it upsets them. Just don't buy a breakfast burrito?
