An emotional recall device.
My thoughts on astrology, as a long term human emotional storage and retrieval device. I wrote an undergrad paper on this. What I did was have 25 students keep a journal of their emotional state for 2 years. Then correlated that with their personal astrological ephemeris. They then could look up today's ephemeris, and recall past emotions. All 25 said this worked extremely well.
Of course there is NO causation involved. It is just a memory device.
