Something l've been noticing over the last 4-5 years actually, a huge decline in the number of insects that get smushed onto the windshield It used to be that l'd have to wash the bugs off 1-2x on a 8-10 hour trip, now maybe once?
Has anyone else noticed this?

There was a dramatic decline in bugs this year. Good for humans, less than good for the ecosystem.
@jjGravitas ah, but the bugs pollinate things ( even mosquitos!) and provide food for the birds. Baby birds need to be fed an incredible number of insects to mature
