Hey Cosonauts - I want to introduce you to my lovely wife. She’s starting a YouTube show that aims to bring science to young adults in a format much like Last Week Tonight. It’s called Science on the Street, and is written/filmed/edited with/by her students.
If anyone with a few minutes to spare and wouldn’t mind checking it out, I know a little random spike in viewership or subscribers would really make her day.
Ep 1: Are Squirrels the Ultimate Bostonians?

Time to make her famous—hold on to your pants Josh….or whatever undergarment you have at hand. Lol
@Thumprhare lol let’s goooooo!
@jgold well that was delightful. Superb deployment of squirrel puns, too!
@john_b I’m glad you enjoyed it! She has a Episode 2 on plastics up, and the Episode 3 will be posted tomorrow in honor of Earth Day (spoiler: It’s about Mars, not Earth - and by far the best episode so far!)
@jgold I like that concept, involving the students like that. Not only do they get to be part of the production, but also get to learn science at the same time. <3 Gain actual work experience and get a better understanding of our world! Subscribed.
@dvalinsworkshop Thanks! She's been amazed how well the students have taken to it. She can barely get them to write two sentences on a short answer exam, but they are voluntarily spending hours researching for each episode.
@jgold That was pretty cool. Best wishes for success of SOTS!
