I wanted to share a little story. In Oct. 2020 I got Covid-19, was sick for 3 weeks. I found out I had some long Covid symptoms - including vocal cord dysfunction.
My voice was weaker, and sounded hoarse.
Not a big deal, except…
I’d spent every free moment of the preceding 15 months recording songs for an album, everything except the lead vocals. Singing was out of the question post C19.

Oh - and just for the record, my voice wasn’t anything great to begin with. Once I realized I might never be able to record vocals, I decided to send it out into the world in spite of the fact that it is an incomplete and flawed project.
These songs are like haunted houses. There was life in them - from lyrics that I crafted with my heart and soul. But those lyrics are not there. They remain only as ghosts.
I can hear the lyrics in my mind but I know I may never be able to sing them, and they may never be heard.
