Looks like I'm going to lose my father in law to inoperable cancer in weeks or maybe only days. He's a good person although he's fallen into the Faux News hole as he's gotten older and sicker and that causes a lot of friction. I haven't talked about this part with my wife but I'm pretty sure her mom will not live much longer after he passes. After being together for 50+ years, I wouldn't be surprised at all for her to let herself pass.

Hey @ianthealy, I know before Christmas you were sharing about your FIL and his cancer, how are things going?

@Mauve_matelot Oof. He died last February. Kind of blunt, but it is what it is. Are you off by a year?

@ianthealy sorry of any distress I caused eith my post.
It appears that I am adrift, i had mis read the date stamp on the top post of this thread and thought it was only weeks old rather than over a year.

Thanks for getting me back up to speed. Wishing you and the family all the best in 2024

@Mauve_matelot no worries. I'm mostly curious how it even turned up at all in your feed.

@ianthealy I was going through one of the grief hashtags, and came across your post.
