I've always wanted to do a NaNoWriMo--but 50k words in 30 days intimidates me.

It takes me a month to write 20-25k.

I know it's like 1600 words/day...but LAWD...I can't turn off my brain enough to spray words on paper.

@awrene I'm guessing NaNoWriMo doesn't lead to many publishable books. Nothing wrong with taking your time.

Obviously every book needs editing but a very rushed first draught could be beyond fixing.

@Cadence @awrene Enough editing can fix anything, even a book. It just takes time and patience and a willingness to fix all the stuff you blew past in the first draft.

@ianthealy @Cadence this is true...but oh my the possible errors make me cry

@awrene @Cadence My first book to be published was originally 105k words long. I wound up cutting 60k out of it and wrote 40k new and that's what became the actual book. You can do it. I believe in you! πŸ™Œ

@ianthealy @Cadence OH MY!!! That's a gut if I've ever seen one! That's huge! 😍
