Aliens invade, blockading New York City inside an impenetrable force field. An unlikely alliance of top-tier superheroes, low-power also-rans, and even supervillains must unite to push the invaders out of the city and off the planet. #dailysuperhero #cosobooks
@ianthealy Thank you for these. I hope an even number of the heroes are non-white and an equal number of supervillains are white. It matters.
@ACG2 Both my Jackrabbit books star an African American young man who has a (yes, I know it's cliche) gay best friend. My Neighborhood Watch and Cinco de Mayo books star a Latina girl and her teammates, one of whom is gay, one disabled, and one African American also. My Rooftops book stars two lesbian characters. Hero Academy and Plague by Adrienne Dellwo (one of my authors) also have marvelously diverse casts. I try to be inclusive with my stories where possible.
@ACG2 Thank you!
@ianthealy Although I enjoy keeping lots of books around, these will be sent to nieces and nephews for upcoming bdays. Thank you, again, so much. If only the Hallmark Movie Channel could be persuaded to move toward your sensibilities, we would be grateful.
