Star Comes Out is the one who has been a problem for us because he claims to be a lineal descendant of my daughters grandfather and he is not but wants their family to control everything to do with wounded knee. He’s not been a neutral president and he just got re elected. Cheyenne river is NOT like pine ridge.

@holon42 well that is just one bill.. the sacred sites one.. if you ask me, they should just take everyone back up to Cheyenne River. That would not go over well, though.

@holon42 I’m disappointed for descendants but I’m also glad that they’re calling out the corruption because there is internal oppression.
He said it wasn’t the people.. he said it was tribal leadership. So it’ll be interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks. I think it will get done.. the sacred sites one but it will be modified. It might take another four years though and that sucks.
