overheard: This isn’t sore losing. I’ve been disappointed in elections before. This is the hard cold realization that the faith I had in who we are as Americans was a lie. That compassion for our neighbors being an American virtue, is a lie. That equality for everyone is a lie. I’m not mad, I’m hurt.
I lost my country to fanaticism and extremism just so a single rich man wouldn’t have to own up to the consequences of his actions.
