She made one mistake but I will show her how to fix it with out having to frog it… (rip everything out and start over)

She likes peyote stitch but I prefer Cheyenne.. I can see why she likes it because it’s faster but the increases and decreases in peyote make you slow down anyway. Cheyenne stitch might be more steps and harder to rip out but it also makes foundational rows easier.. I think.

And this is how peyote is worked

You can see from the diagram how it could get confusing keeping track of rows with increases and decreases.

@holon42 it takes some time to master different stitches but it’s not too bad.

Embroidery is fun!
And bead embroidery is easier than weaving, it’s just more time consuming, I think. Did you do embroider with a needle or with a punch or both?
