i'm reading Jung, a massive enterprise. read some in the 60s but now it's making so much more sense and relevance. in so many ways.
the well image came up in my I Ching enquiry the other day. it's a useful one. the well remains because of its nature as well, while the village changes and moves around it.

I revisited a lot of past trauma recently in a chat with a friend, and the problem with opening old wounds is that it can trigger a lot of old feelings of helplessness, too.
Those can then grow unchecked, if not properly addressed.
But I'm not helpless here, and the past has no power over me now.
It's time to close those chapters and recenter.
