time for some shuteye 🥱😴
here's a #Teddy fix for y'all😎
he's a big'un. 17+lbs, but not as round as the one i saw in my garden. maybe 🇨🇦winter fur.
anyway, here he is ❤️
from the head shape, yours looks to be female, but it could be the angle. good looking one❤️
i'll show my friend the photos and see what she says. she's a rehabber, so she would know better than i.
ok✌🏽
i'll check in tomorrow 🥱
Here's some photos of SWEETIE. I think (guess) she's a young female. She's so smart. She'll stand on the edge of the bowl, very carefully, so she can eat food from the bottom. Very dainty. I don't want to interrupt her wild life... but possums are so good to have around the garden- I'd like her to keep visiting. So any helpful hints are welcome.
my friend says definitely female.
"Males have that distinctive round head and less pointy nose
She definitely has the tapered pointed nose and small head
She is an absolutely lovely wilding."
compare #Teddy 's head shape to hers.
Thank you for the information…. I hope this young female stays… will start putting out POSSUM TREATS. I do have 3 raccoons that keep visiting. I’m trying not to feed them, but they like to come up on my deck to watch my cats watch them behind the double glass door .
yeah, feeding possums will also get you raccoons, skunks, foxes, and an assortment of smaller visitors.
🤷🏻♂️
she's definitely digging the kibbles. when they're pregnant or nursing, scrambled eggs are a good protein boost.
@holon42
I have some better photos I’ll post as soon as I find them 😎
