Why the fuck are Americans using **MM/DD/YY**?
That date format make no sense at all, because **DD/MM/YY** goes from lowest to highest, as **YYYY-MM-DD** goes from highest to lowest. **MM/DD/YY** does not make any sense since it goes middle, lowest, and highest. That's why americans only use it. I do not get why **MM/DD/YY** exists in the first place.

@hemiplegic to be fair, I use YYYY.MM.DD when I sort recordings.
@hemiplegic I hate MM-DD and DD-MM because for the first 12 days I don't know which is the month and which is the day. I use YYYY-MM-DD
