Watching the Eddie Murphy film The Golden Child after so many years & all I can describe the open as is "offensively 80's".

Charles Dance still rocks in it though.

@Shadow298 ha! I thought it was pretty good as a 16 year old inhabiting the 80s. The Last Dragon, Big Trouble in Little China, and Remo Williams were all better fantastical movies of the era, though probably no less offensive for today's palates. Another crazy film with a great Charles Dance is Last Action Hero. There you'll find all the 90s offensive you're looking for...😂

@Shadow298 well, since 80s culture defines Gen X and it's mostly nostalgia for us, I take all the good with the bad! If you're interested, have a look at Lightfield Lewis's (Juliette Lewis's older brother, lfl84) videos on Instagram. They might not have the same effect in you since you're the end of our generation but I just get lost in them...
