@TrueBloodNet frequently, research of the kind that leads to negative results (like PhD work) is immensely useful in guiding other researchers away from paths that are unlikely to bear fruit. Unfortunately, it's not usually exciting or novel like positive results and doesn't get published in traditional journals. I feel for Sabine.

I used to follow physics a lot closer and strive to understand it more, but I kinda gave up when I realized all that brain use was wasted bcuz 11 dimensional string theory is probably wrong.
