Some inaccuracies IMO like when talking about Joe McCarthy carrying on until the 1960's."On December 2, 1954, the Senate voted to censure McCarthy by a vote of 67–22, making him one of the few senators ever to be disciplined in this fashion. He continued to rally against communism and socialism until his death at the age of 48 at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, on May 2, 1957

@Gladari I don't think they're suggesting that McCarthy himself was around in the 60s but that the Res Scare persisted. It certainly continued to influence large swaths of the American public. The HUAC itself wasn't abolished until 1975!

Aha! And JFK had his own Red issues to deal with - Bay of Pigs & Cuban Missile Crisis. Not exactly McCarthy, but...
