i mean, i'd be happy to give up the flying car scenario for my own rosie. i'd give up a lot for my own rosie. a cake making, cleaning robot who anticipated my every need.

@singlemaltgirl sadly the only legal (and probably moral) way to achieve this is to make tons of money and hire the best! Back in the aughts, a guy named Trevor Blackwell came up with an idea at a computer conference I was at: he said instead of developing fancy robots with sophisticated AI, some company will probably come up with a remotely controlled robot with operators in traditional manufacturing countries like India who would operate in shifts. I'm sure nothing bad would have ever happened

@hallmarc ah, but my problem is i don't want an actual person in my house knowing my secrets and how i really live.
an inanimate object sounds so much more appealing.
i won't even hire a p/t cleaner b/c i'd clean before they got here. 🙄
