What are the chances that if Trump is convicted on any of the federal charges, he tries to do himself in? Would he just never try because his experience has always been that he gets off scott free? Or is he essentially a coward who just couldn't do time?
@hallmarc Zero chance, he'd run away first and he won't even have to do that. He's an ex-President, he's in a unique echelon, they won't allow him to be in some prison mopping the floor. Don't wait for it, that is simply never going to happen.
@MidnightRider given the fact that so many "unique" and unprecedented things have happened in the past 7 years I have absolutely no idea what to expect. After 25 years of Putin, almost nobody expected a hot war in Europe. Yet here we are. Almost nobody foresaw the tidal wave of disinfo and division over something as universal as a deadly virus. Yet here we are. Many, many people who know the justice system is unfair never thought Trump would even be indicted. Yet here we are.
