@Marc_T_Benedict I'd say the Flicker, I don't get them often.Also pleased to see White Throated Sparrows and a Junco, the rest were year-round common visitors

@gemswinc We've had quite a few flickers over the years. We get white crowned sparrows and golden crowned sparrows. The mourning doves and Eurasian collared doves, Stellar's and scrub jay. More recently some band-tailed pigeons (which are pretty striking creatures). Never more than maybe four or five species at a time though.

@Marc_T_Benedict Sounds a lively mix! Collared doves & jays, you are out west? I get yellow shafted Flickers, more this year than usual, environment changing. Lots more dead trees. Birds are wonderful friends

@gemswinc Though they don't show up to be fed often, we sometimes have wrens, nuthatches, even the occasional varied thrush. There are others too, but I'd have to dig out my RTP field guide to review my list.🙂
