So a beautiful, talented woman was denied, in favor of a brainless pile of excrescence. Why? IMO race & misogyny. A piece of garbage, if white, is always preferred. I was originally afraid of Kamala as a candidate because of that, but Kamala wa magnificent, folks must have seen that. Still, only race and gender counted. The relentless, not-our-friend, the media, has a large part of the blame.
It is shocking, to me, to see how Big Media operated in this election cycle.... downplaying the achievement and results coming from the Biden administration and refusing to name what trump was, is and will be by its name.
@tgraph52 They never, ever, reported nor celebrated Biden's accomplishments as they should have. Never pushed back on the inflation and immigration impressions as they should have. Never made a big deal
over the scrapping if the border bill. Most folks, do not do as we do, do not search the news for the truth, but accept media bias.
@tgraph52 I am not listening. In fact, canceling some news subscriptions may be in order. Haven't listened to TV news in years, hence I guess, caught flat-footed by the vote
I don't subscribe to any. I was to TPM for while but let it lapse this month.
Big media seems to be following the $$$ so maybe cancelling subscriptions will get some of their attention.
