California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) delivered a forceful defense of President Biden during a Fourth of July celebration in South Haven, Mich., arguing that Biden has gotten “things done” in a “remarkable 3½ years.”
“It’s been, dare I say, a master class,” he said, according to a video posted to X by an aide to the governor.
Of Biden, he said: “I believe in his character. I believe that he has been one of the most transformative presidents in our collective lifetime. There’s a decency to Joe - WaPo
