@vo1de Isn't it? It's the sort if thing I associate with CoSo, nice to see it elsewhere, though I too will not return. Kindness is hard to find among the algorithmic pushed trash.
@gemswinc it's just the loud and the crazy drowning everyone else out, the algorithms for monitization push content engagement. Unfortunately people flinging poo is high quality content to them, so it seems weird when actual people talk. I don't know if that's deliberate or not, but it is what it is. Without the corporate asshattery coso doesn't have that problem. You can hear your voice and the voices of other people here because they aren't being drowned out, most people are actually kind pple
@vo1de I had worked around Twitter's algorithms for a long time, used Echofon App, which had no algorithms. Then Muskrat shut down echofon, and screwed up lists by adding everyone's RTs, so scroll, scroll, scroll, then rate limits & finally rebranded to X. The final straw. I will not look at an X in my app list. It *is* deliberate.
