Veteran's Day, Remembrance Day...

On the 11th Hour of the Eleventh Month in the year of 1918 CE, the guns fell silent

The hope was that they would be silent forever, but sadly that prophecy proved false

My father, my grandfathers, and going further back still, all have served

To all of you that have put body and mind on the line so that we may enjoy our liberties, and our comforts, you have my deepest thanks.

May we end war for good. That, I feel, would be the greatest honor to those lost.
