Anyone else have "friends" like these? Call you up, talk about themselves, never ask how you are, show no interest in any words you might get in edgewise? Arghh!
@Lulz4l1f3 It can also be called annoying. I am glad to have folks call, shouldn't complain, but sometimes...
I did got tired of listening to them and call identifier worked for me to stop answering their call so they went on to someone else.

Very few. Just told a friend yesterday, I did not return her call while I was traveling because I wanted to get away from gossip.
Also said I’m not going to listen to her constant medical issues because she wants my input but ignores my responses.
No interest in my issues. None.

Yup. All about her kids & grandkids...then turned around and asked me if my eldest was in a coven.
So I asked what she had heard. IF my kid was in a coven I'd be very upset since she hadn't joined my own.
She hasn't called me back in more than 5 years now.🤷♀️

I don't miss the 4 hr phone calls nor visits to her home (never mine) because when she had me cornered there she could show me her slides from her trip to "The Holy Land".

Our familes go way back, 62 yrs. Immigrants bond and create new families. We used to live in the same rooming/boarding house when we 1st arrived here.
She's my baby bro's godmother. I was 1 of her bridesmaids. I'm her son's godmother. He, along with his sis were my flower girl and ringbearer.
When we have weddings or funerals we are sat with the cousins.
Breaks my heart to admit that she's gone 'round the bend with her searching for evil everywhere. I won't put up with her anymore.
